La presidenza di Carlo Minuto si è aperta con la Festa per i 25 anni di vita del RC Golfo di Genova che si è svolta il 5 luglio. Atmosfera delle grandi occasioni e folta partecipazione di soci e ospiti. Ci hanno onorato della loro presenza il Governatore del Distretto 2030 Remo Gattiglia, il PDG Anselmo Arlandini, numerosi Presidenti dei RClub genovesi con i quali collaboriamo per i Service. La festa si è articolata in vari momenti tutti ricchi di significato. Un ricordo commosso è stato dedicato a Pino Capone, Governatore alla data di costituzione del Club e figura circondata dall’affetto e dalla stima per una personalità di grande spessore umano e esempio di valori rotariani. Grato il Club consegna per le mani di Giovanni Grimaldi, socio fondatore, al figlio, il nostro socio Francesco Capone, una targa ricordo.
Cuore della serata l’intervento di Anna Maria Parodi, tra i soci fondatori, che ha tracciato la storia del Club presentando un volumetto da lei curato con l’aiuto di alcuni soci, che ripercorre le tappe più significative della nostra storia. La pubblicazione è stata omaggiata ai presenti accompagnata da un piatto commemorativo in ceramica e da una rosa alle signore.
Il Presidente ha presentato la sua relazione programmatica ringraziando la socia Emma Tomaselli per la preziosa collaborazione, illustrando i service che caratterizzeranno l’AR 23/24, offrendo una prima traccia dei temi che saranno affrontati nelle conviviali. Il tesoriere Pietro Vassallo ha quindi presentato il bilancio che è stato approvato all’unanimità.
E infine gli auguri affettuosi del Presidente e di tutti i presenti al nostro socio Carlo Casarico per le nozze con Monica Canu, accompagnati da un mazzo di fiori alla sposa.
Gli elementi per una serata riuscitissima ci sono stati tutti e l’atmosfera di condivisione, di orgoglio per i risultati raggiunti e di amicizia ha testimoniato ancora una volta la vitalità del nostro Club.
